What’s New with EPIC: Scenario Sharing Feature

Background

As a pioneer in cloud-based building energy performance assessment technology, SRS has earned a reputation for developing cutting edge software, data, and predictive analytics solutions. Our latest innovation is the Energy Performance Improvement Calculator (EPIC™).

EPIC continues to be enthusiastically adopted across the ecosystem of energy efficiency project professionals for its ability to help drive sales of higher ticket, higher margin equipment.

New Feature

Based on EPIC user requests, we are pleased to announce the launch of EPIC Scenario Sharing.

This new feature empowers EPIC users to share scenarios with internal and external project stakeholders to facilitate time and cost-effective collaboration. Here’s how it works:

1. Create a contact to share your project scenario:

   1. Click on “My Contacts” from the EPIC avatar dropdown menu:

      

   2. Click on “+ Add Contact” button:

      

   3. Enter the email address of the contact you wish to share a scenario and click “Create”:

      

   4. Your contact receives an email to accept your request to share an EPIC scenario:

      

   5. Your contact clicks on the email link to accept your request to share an EPIC scenario:

      

   6. Upon your contact’s acceptance, your My Contacts page will display “Accepted” status:

      

2. Share an EPIC scenario with your contact via the EPIC Sharing Options > “Share Scenario with My Contacts”:

   

3. Select the contact and click “Send”:

   

4. The contact receives an email confirming a Scenario has been shared and is available for the contact to access in EPIC:

   

5. Under EPIC Folders > a “Shared with Me” folder is displayed to access the shared scenario.
