What’s New with EPIC: User Preferences

Background

As a pioneer in cloud-based building energy performance assessment technology, SRS has earned a reputation for developing cutting edge software, data, and predictive analytics solutions. Our latest innovation is the Energy Performance Improvement Calculator (EPIC™).

EPIC continues to be enthusiastically adopted across the ecosystem of energy efficiency project professionals: project developers, ESCOs, HVAC contractors, utility program managers, and manufacturers and distributors of HVAC equipment.

New Features

Based on EPIC user requests, we are pleased to announce the following new user preferences to enable EPIC users to select their preferred units of measure for EPIC’s calculations and analytics reporting.

  1. Units of Measure

    • EPIC now enables users, via Avatar > My Preferences > Units of Measure, to save their preferred units of measure.

    • Once saved in My Preferences, EPIC will default to the preferred units of measure in its calculation and reporting of key metrics. For example, a user may prefer natural gas units to be presented in therms vs. CCF, or equipment efficiency rating in IEER vs. EER.

  2. Miscellaneous: Company

    • EPIC now enables users, via Avatar > My Preferences > Miscellaneous to save their Company Name.

    • Once saved in My Preferences, EPIC will display the user’s Company Name in the EPIC Report’s introductory sentence, as shown below.
